Bees Knees Creative Enterprises was founded
in 2002. Having an art background,
Renee McLean has always strived to find something
original to do whilst working from home and is
dedicated to providing a wonderful environment for her children, with mum home to care for them.
The business idea for Japanese Quilts came about by a request from her sister to make a quilt using the Japanese Themed fabrics. Research made it very clear
Japanese themed fabrics were scarce as there wasn't a large choice in Australia and materials were then
carefully sourced from overseas to provide fabrics during the Quilt's construction. The fabrics seen here on Bees Knees are
easy to fall in love with as they have such a
high quality and abundance of
variety.
